    This is really reaching. All that means is that they missed their filing deadline on their annual report (which is a one page document that you can retrieve by clicking at the top of their listing). It’s not exactly nefarious, and easily corrected by printing out the report and sending it to the Secretary of State with five bucks. At this point, it’s only about a month late anyway.

    It’s public information and far more fact-based than what The Pelican Group or James O’Keefe has done lately. Just because there’s “Institute” in the name doesn’t mean it automatically warrants or even ultimately deserves respect. The amount of interest in O’Keefe and pals is all caused by their own actions, not online attacks or “bloggers.”

      It’s public information that’s irrelevant. There are many non-profit and for-profit organizations who fail to file their annual report on time. It’s doesn’t mean that the organization has ceased to exist as a legal entity.
