AWESOME! I have been out of the loop this past month, but this means that the current city hall will be demolished, right?
Andrea, there is a long-term vision in H.I.P.’s proposal that would involve demolishing City Hall and replacing it with a structure similar to the old City Hall– a much smaller building that would primarily serve as Council chambers/ a public gathering place. But this is a part of their long-term “vision,” as reflected in their renderings, and the demolition of City Hall is not a part of this specific agreement.
Aha! Nevertheless, I am still excited!
