I cannot imagine any outcome other than a resounding Roy victory but my record of political predictions in this election cycle has not been very good. How could people of good will and intelligence bring themselves to elect Brewer, now that they truly know Brewer. I am not comfortable that we will do the right thing.
The Roy mantra has been change and he tells us that if we are happy with the way things are, he may not be our man. That sounds good and exciting but the Sept. primary showed that the folks were delighted with the way things are.
i just got my recorded Delores Brewer election day phone call. Whatever… Woman, It’s way too late. You talk about having integrity and honesty in all of your ads. The fact that you have none could have been masked had you kept your mouth shut.
You fired a shot on Oct. 12 and just kept firing … over and over and over and over again. That first bullet and all that followed were directed straight into your own campaign. You destroyed any chance that the voting public would believe that you have integrity and honesty. At times, I thought “Could this be intentional on her part?” But why would a candidate intentionally destroy her own campaign? Maybe her advisors secretly don’t like her. I don’t know…her erratic behavior just doesn’t make sense to me. Not to worry though, today many more bullets will be fired into the Brewer campaign. This time by all the voters she turned off with her tactics that can only be described as plain stupid.
And so today, the assisted political suicide of the Delores Brewer for Mayor campaign will be completed and Dr. Kevorkian, excuse me, I mean Roy Fletcher can move on to his next victim, whoops .. I mean client.
My prediction: Jacques gets at least 65% of the vote.
does anyone know if any of the media outlets will be covering election results throughout the day or are we going to have to wait until tonight to get an idea of whats going on at the polls?
The media outlets will wait until the polls close and then they will begin reporting results. Typically, the first numbers to come in will be the absentee vote. Then the other boxes will come in and be reported throughout the evening.
I am currently weaving an entire suit out of Jacques stickers for tonight’s party. In the meantime, I have origami’d a rather perilous athletic supporter out of a few Brewer flyers. Yikes–papercuts!
