Delores Brewer on KSYL: Taking Your Questions.
Claims Rick Ranson would be Chief of Staff, Jacques Roy err… Jock Scott would be City Attorney.
She also says, once again, that if elected, she won’t be in City Hall much.
Jacques Roy will be on KSYL tomorrow morning.

Delores said some interesting things this morning.
Highlights from around 8:30 am. until 9:00.
1) David Pugh is Jacques PR man
2) She wants to debate Jacques but he will not call her back to set a date.
3) Ms. Brewer does not care for Bridgett Brown.
4) And of course, Jacques is all tied up in the Cleco case and will make millions off of the city along with Ms. Brown.
I am not sure what she said before 8:30 but I am sure that it was equally amusing. If we can get a transcript I will pay for it.

She says that Jacques Roy would be her city attorney and then corrects herself and says Jock Scott. It was really funny.

She also said that Rick Ranson would be her chief of staff. He doesn’t even live in the city. I really got tired of her talking about the whole Cleco thing, and I hope that the voters will be able to distinguish between the TWO lawsuits involving Cleco, as so eloquently outlined in your previous posts, Lamar. I felt much better, however, after I turned off the radio, went to the courthouse and voted for Jacques.
I don’t think one has to live in the city to work in the city. Rick Ranson was a crackerjack councilman in my book, but he’ll never be chief of staff because she’ll never be mayor.
It is very tempting to vote for Delores Brewer just to have Rick Ranson as her chief of staff. He was an excelent city councilman.

it wasn’t enough for jock scott to attempt to torpedo any chance the city had to hold cleco accountable as a supposed mediator – he was fired from this once already
– and it wasn’t enough for rick ranson to fleece the city by selling regions bank for millions – had he shown the guts his constituents asked and voted against this boondoggle in stead of conveniently “abstaining”, the vote would have gone the other way – all the while casting every vote he could to derail the city’s attempt at holding cleco accountable for fraud
– now they’re both back in the saddle for db – aiming to continue years of corruption, cronyism and coverup – w/ albin as the chief engineer of all sorts of nefarious double dealing
not much hope for “those people” having a voice in db’s mayoral regime
I would vote for her to get Rick Ranson, in fact, let’s just elect Rick! Great councilman, would be a great mayor.
Well you know Delores we have to keep everything in the family – Jock’s grandmother was the daughter of Albin Provosty I and Marie Adele LeDoux. So by letting Jock be City Attorney, she can keep Albin around and pass on more city money to the “family.”
Jock Scott would make a great city attorney and Rick Ranson a fine Chief of Staff but Brewer just ruined it with her video fiasco. It just made her out to look like some wierdo. Its real unfortunate.
Jock or Rick should have run for mayor rather than Brewer.
I, among many others told Rick to run for mayor when everybody was throwing their name in the hat. He knew he was electable, but he wanted out of the rat race with the council so he headed for the hills.I find it amazing that he would he even consider the position, based on my previous conversations with him.I dont see any changes for the better that would make him want to change his mind.
It looks like Jacque has called Mrs. Brewer’s bluff about a debate.KSYL has advised they would moderate it. It should be interesting!!!

Delores should have shown her family in pig suits. They have been the hogs feeding from the public trough. What rank audacity to accuse someone else. How desperate is this pathetic soul?
Delores’ heartfelt assurances on election night – all recorded by KALB in case she denies them – that no negative campaigning would come from her camp were certainly sincere. Does she even know the difference between truth and a bald faced lie? Pig videoes and analogies to rape????Delores and her hatchet man need to fade into the sunset while they have sunset to fade into.
So the Roy push poll going on in town right now is not “going negative in the run-off?” We all remember who stared the negativity- Jacques.
If he can call her a liar she should be able to refute it and if he calls her a skunk she can call him a pig.
Would you please put up the “Pork Fest” commercial on your sight in the same way as the “Integrity Rape” spot. I am unable to get it or even open on KALB. I think it’s a Mac problem but I can download it off of your site fine. Thank you for your help.

Is there anyone on this Blog that has even .25% of a brain. You people think some 35 y/o kid with no qualifications and no experience should run a city of this size? Give it up about the commericials.

How sad it is that you live in such a deluded world. This 35 year old boy has more class and integrity in his little finger than Delores Brewer has shown in this campaign. She has certainly set the tone here, and all I hear is a load of desperation. Good Luck with your delusions.
