   Who gives a shit about this? We want to discuss politics. Are you losing your nerve? Has the Roy camp demanded that you cease discussions of the mayoral election? Damn, it’s not worth visiting this site anymore.

   This is just a feature of the blog– promoting cultural and music events in Alexandria.

   And no, “the Roy camp” is all about free speech, and coincidentally, I think they also believe in the right of anonymous (or protected) sources in the free press.

   This is a good place to go when you get tired of hearing all the Brewer supporters on Antics talk in circles over and over and over and over about the same crap. Sounds like they’re all trying to convince each other that she actually has a prayer of pulling this off. Besides, don’t you also get tired of scrolling all the way to the bottom of an 840 post thread.

   Get off of Lamar’s nuts. It can’t be about politics 24/7. Everyone needs a break. Thanks, however, for taking an interest, unlike the other 53% of the voters.

   And Lamar, thanks for taking an interest in what’s going on around town. We have a good little city, and it is on the way up, but it will take involvement by everyone.

   Just a quick plug for some new guys in town, LA Country has had some really amazing Nashville Recording artists lately. If you haven’t been by or seen their website, go to http://www.lacountrybar.com
   So far, every act I ‘ve seen there has been quality. They also spotlight local talent as well, and yes, its a bar, but you advertise for Frosty Factory. This is a much bigger venue, with an older clientele.

   Lamar, I know you are starting a website, and were looking for advertisers. I know the owners there–great people, and they also own two other businesses in Natchitoches. Give them a call and perhaps they will get on board.

    hey lamar,
    although i can’t attend because i’m in kathmandu, i really have enjoyed this post about the art walk downtown (not just because of my affinity for the local arts scene and emmanual baptist), as well as the other posts you’ve been making. it’s almost like having my own lamar feed across the world, but not quite, because it doesn’t compare to the heated latenite discussions we’ve had about this stuff in person.
    keep it up, and continue diversifying your blog, one of the nice things about this blog is that it’s not just about politics, or music, or arts, but has a good masala of info.
