I am completely and totally confused! Delores submits a bid to an agency that has NO ties to City and is raked over the coals as if she robbed the vault. Hell, she did even win. Meanwhile our City council appoints friends, relatives, and lovers as lawyers, consultants, etc. and all are silent??? Check the Home Rule Charter, check the Housing Authority’s charter the only connection is the sharing of the names Alexandria. The AHA is not a budgeted item in the City’s annual budget. Diversionary attacks are the craft of a good warrior. Be careful not ot call in the trap.

That may be true but she submitted her proposal as part of an OPEN, COMPETITIVE process. Who won, oh let me think, ah yes, now it comes to me: THE WIFE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY maybe.
Irregardless of who appoints whom, or who sits on what board the point is it was a BID which means it was an above board, publicly advertised process.
If your conspiracry theory of political cronism where true, the the board appointed by the Mayour would have awarded it to her even though she was not the low bid.
