  1. The race seems quite tepid actually. Sure, Gunn provides a brief glimpse at the Sams campaign “issues bandied about”, Brewer’s campaign, and Roosevelt’s healthy door-knocking lifestyle.

So far the coverage has been lax. I know this mess is beginning to take form but can we get something more to bite on? Please? I remember stronger coverage from my student newspaper for BHS Student Council elections in 98.

  2. It is noteworthy that CFS is temporarily giving up his well-documented career as a famous crime-fighter to devote himself to this campaign. “He will continue to run the Council” . . . into the ground.

  3. I hear that there are some trying to convince her to stay in but that she has made up her mind to withdraw. If so what is she waiting for?

  4. The phantom poll in the paper was actually real. I know the guy who ran it for one of the candidates…the only thing is that it is old…about 45 days old as of today…Sams has made the most progress in a new poll coming out done over this weekend…he and johnson headed to a run off right now…brewer sank fast.

  5. sams is THE surprise to this point of the race.gotta say he has a shot when I thought he did not even scratch a few weeks back.

  6. If Alexandria is to have a white mayor, whites had best get behind ONE white candidate because that’s exactly how blacks will do behind ONE black candidate.

  7. It isn’t a secret, it’s just that the not so veiled threats are keeping folks quiet. BTW thats lawyers not lawyer and someones, not someone.;)
