  1. City employees, no matter what supervisor the report to, are employeed by (supposedly) the citizens of Alexandria.

However, as one can see folks respond to the instructions of the sponsor and are loyal to color. Brown is attracted to to colors – Black and Green.

Myron Lawson says jump and on the way up she (as well as Sanders) ask how high.

Itr is inconceivable that folks cannot realize it is racial warfare in Alexandria.

  2. B. Brown is just one more angry ass black woman, and in my humble opinion we have far too many of them in Alexandria. Talk about a BULL DOG!

  3. Brigette is a hellcat, but sometimes people like Delores need a fire lit under their ass just to keep em’ in line. Stupid move on both parts if ya ask me.

  4. Brigette is no hellcat. She is just a gaudy curly headed mouthy negress useing her native talents and white man’s guilt to advance her position in life at the expense of others.

The Black Triangle is located across the street from the mall, bridgette “Curly, Pimp Car” Brown, Sanders and Myron.

  5. I can’t believe BB was sitting there calling Delores a liar. Talk about disrespect. That was one of the most unprofessional displays I have ever seen. What in the world is Alexandria doing hiring a person like that to represent the city.

  6. You jest? A negress lawyer that has publically expressed her desire to win her first million dollar case. A negress who is only representing Alexandria because of her relationship with Myron Lawson. A “curly” headed negress. And lastly the ego-mobile.

You expect professionalism from her. BB is a half a step out of a cotton patch. Without the law degree she would be trying to marry money. It would be interesting to see the statistics on her win/lost ration.

  7. you guys need to drop the n word references. this is the 21st century. I think BB a fool as well and employed only because of special connections as well, but emphasizing race distracts from the real issues…unprofessional, incompetent leadership at city hall in all branches. case against cleco will go nowhere until a real leader emerges and takes control of the process. too many cooks in kitchen now and none speaking to each other.

  8. Could one think that the “N” word is not necessary applicable to color but to the individual”s actions. I have long held there are white negroes. I also have high respect for numerous Blac ks and, amazingly, Martin Luther King is one. To bad those who are in a position to continue what he started (the betterment of the life of Blacks in the United) States of America, don’t. It is obvious the bunch on the City Council, with the exception of Roosevelt who just isn’t aware, are there for solely for their own ego (hey I can be a tribal Chief), their own financial benefit and the financial benefit of friends and concubines. “Just a young lady I bees trying to help.” BB acts like a character that would fit in well with the Amos and Andy crowd thus deserves the label negress. Pimp Car, loud abrasive, ashamed of her own hair, etc, etc. She finally figured out she cannot be white so she gonna ride black for all it is worth.

  9. I agree with the comment concerning the N word. If you feel like throwing around incendiary racist remarks, you can find a home at Cenla Antics.

Hate speech simply doesn’t have a place in a serious discussion on the issues.

Also, there are a few of you who use the N word to describe certain political figures, like Ms. Brown, yet, at the same time, you attack them whenever they call attention to racism. Can’t you understand your hypocrisy?

I know the issue works both ways. Look at the way the Alexandria News Weekly covered this story, for instance.

We shouldn’t let the lowest common denominator determine the way we speak to one another.

If some of you started treating and respecting our black political leaders as PEOPLE, we’d have a real dialogue going on.

It is possible, by the way, to disagree with someone on every issue, to disagree with their agenda, to disagree with their personal decisions WITHOUT dismissing their humanity.

  10. Let an old man tell you a couple of stories. In my time b ack in the olden days little black children had to walk from the Oil Mill Quarters to Lower Third to go to school. No yellow buses and no neighberhood schools. Now you start walking at Bolton and Rapides to Peabody on Lower Third and see how you like it.

Colored waiting room signs, colored water fountains, colored this and colored that but all the white folks had coloreds as nannys. Now you figure humanity you good enough to raise my children but you can’t drink out of the same water fountain as me.

I am proud the Blacks have equal opportunity, the Jim Crow laws are gone and it is possible, if desired, for a Black to overcome.

I ain’t proud of a bunch of dayum niggers that forgets his/her own people, who forgets the prices paid so that the group of monkeys can sit at the council table and play tribal chief while stealing and dealing. I could better appreciate the council pouring all tax money into bettering the quarters then what the trashy bastards are doing now – taking care of themselves and friends. Whitey done it so it is now their turn.

  11. Did you guys miss the Klan meeting or something? Geez.

After watching this video I beginning to see why my thirst for relocating has dominated the core of my thoughts. I’ve never seen so many people who speak with such little regard for pronunciation and grammar. Geez. Did any of these people, besides Brewer, have a point?

We need an huge enema for this city council. Now.

  12. With all due respect, there is absolutely no need to use the N word.

Many of us have a sense of righteous indignation over the way government operates in Alexandria. But when you express your indignation with bigoted language (specifically directed at individual people), you lose the argument.

When white people ran the government, most of the business that they subcontracted out was to white-owned companies. Can’t we at least agree on that? Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that I agree with idea that now it’s anyone’s “turn” to run the government. We’re no longer taking turns. We have to run it together.

So the question isn’t about race. It’s about the culture of our government. It’s about how government shapes good people into maligned politicians. Mostly, though, it’s about accountability and transparency.

  13. “Mostly, though, it’s about accountability and transparency”

That is something we can all agree on. As a city employee I was embarrassed to watch the commitee riot. Alexandria deserves better in it’s elected leaders. These are the same people that thump their chests about how great a job Alex government is doing. Ya’ll should see this years budget and go over it line by line. If it all was made public, City Hall would be in flames by nightfall.

I’m also ashamed that race is injected here in such learned company. How can we bemoan what the council(and their cronies) is doing when we are no better?

  14. There are a few things I still don’t understand about the committee meeting.

I’ve watched the meeting two or three times. (TiVo rocks).

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t Ms. Brown representing the City of Alexandria?

And doesn’t Mrs. Brewer work for the City of Alexandria?

So isn’t this like a lawyer publicly criticizing her own client?

  15. EXACTLY. AND it is also apparent that it is NOT the desire to get a quick buck that is motivating BB or KS but something else. IT is clear that she is working FOR CLECO because CLECO favors a secret audit using someone who has made millions working for them in the past over an open disclosure of facts. FACTS are something the people deserve. BB is working to seal it up. THANKFULLY the attys in BR who are not part of the politics of CENLA recognize something is up or they would not have filed the objection to the audit.

  16. Did I understand BB correctly that she is worried about the citizens getting their refund? That they (citizens) are the reason she was involved in the meeting?

  17. Well Ned has issued a statement to clear up any confusion. I wonder what Sanders is gonna say next and why Hobbs is still in the dark?

  18. At the end of the statement, Randolph also said, “At last night’s meeting, an impression may have been given that the City Council was not aware that this pleading had been filed until after the fact. This is not accurate as confirmed in a post council conversation with Mr. Sanders.”

They are all a bunch of fucking LIARS…white, black, lawyer, non-lawyer, male, female…it doesn’t matter…..

Bottom line…. THEY ARE ALL A BUNCH OF LIARS!!!!!

  19. Note to council and Bridgett Brown……

Baton Rouge does NOT rhyme with Fudge!!!!!!

  20. Lamar, it’s probably true that Bridgett’s decision to call Delores Brewer a liar in public was an incredibly unprofessional action, especially when you consider that Mrs. Brewer works for the mayor. However, Bridgett was right. Delores Brewer was lying.

Then again so was Bridgett Brown and so was Kelvin Sanders and so was the City Council.

  21. “why did the mayor leave ms brewer to twist in the wind?”

We saw that….have you spent much time around the mayor lately??? The poor guy probably needs help wiping his own heiny….he is not well. Go back and look at the footage of the concil meeting. I’m not sure he even knew where he was……

  22. Permit me to use the “N” word – NINCOMPOOP ! Don’t know if it’s spelled correctly, however, that word accurately describes Brown, Sanders, the City Council and us citizens if we allow them to stay on office.

  23. Its ashame that we are held hostage to CLECO whose employees act like they think they are to be appreciated. They have stolen. Yes I used the word. STOLEN from us citizens of Alexandria and i am all for refunds but I want to see some of them go to fricken JAIL.

  24. We are CLECO. We give you lights at your kids baseball fields ( wonder where the money comes from and how much you culd cut off our overpriced bill if you gave it back to us? ) We are CLECO we give Fans to poor people who are hot ( Because they cant afford the fucking highest utility rates in the south to run real airconditioners) WE are CLECO we do whatever the hell we want to whoever we want. We buy favors from Mayors, representatives and other big shots by providing squeez pillows for elected officials in Baton Rouge, favors for their cities like lights for non existent bike trails and trees on your highways , utiliti lines to your private residents and we do it right in front of and at the expense of the very people who we steal the money from with our legal monopoly. WE are CLECO. How dare these people who seek to make us honest . We are CLECO and our days are numbered.

  25. Mrs. VAN DREESEN’S (Delores Brewer) CLASSROOM (Council Meeting)

Mrs. Van Dreesen (DB)— It’s ironic that we in this country who cherish freedom occasionally support governments who are less responsive to human rights. We’re very fortunate…..

Butthead(Bridgette Brown)— What’s your problem Beavis(Kelvin Sanders)? Settle down.

Mrs. Van Dreesen (DB)— …the strugle for freedom is by no means over. It still goes on today in places like….Alexandria,Louisiana… Nicaragua… El Salavdor… and Panama.

    Beavis—(KS) (shirt over head) NIC..AR..A..GUA. Agua….Agua for my bunghole….bunnnghooooole!

Mrs. Van Dreesen(DB)— Beavis(KS)and Butthead (BB)! Please sit down…

Beavis(KS)— Are you threatening me? I AM CORNHOLIO!

Mrs. Van Dreesen (DB)— Come on Beavis(KS). Take your seat… Now, technically America is not a democracy but a republic….

    Beavis(KS)— to Butthead(BB) …you have T.P.? T.P.? for my bunghole?

Butthead(BB)— Get out of here Beavis(KS).

Beavis(KS)— Ummmmmmm. Okay. Heh heh … heh heh…WALKS OUT OF CLASS I AM CORNHOLIO. I need T.P. for my bunghooooole………..

  26. Wow. My first time reading Cenla’s dirty landry after leaving racist Alexandria, and moving to a real city. A place where the color of your skin is not an issue. I’ve read your racist remarks, and amazed to see that you’ve guys have slipped. The real problem here and the question you really want to ask yourself is – How in the hell did we let the city council become black? How did Kelvin Sanders become mayor? and Who in the hell let Bridget Brown learn to read! I will say to each of you good ole’ boys… you’ve got bigger problems… you’re getting ready to have a black mayor! Whohoo! I love it!

Did someone check on Dee Dee? it appears that her mouth had slightly twisted to the left in that clip… you know that clip? the beat down? Dee Dee you can’t lie in public like that and get away with it – How ironic! the Town Talk the racist Town Talk! told the truth (in fine print of course) about the big lie! Seen any episodes of LA Law lately! lol! this shit is better than the soaps!
