Jackson Street Extension and Versailles Extension and Extending Alexandria:

Yesterday, I was able to look at plans for an awesome building that’s going up on Jackson Street Extension. I’m not sure if I was supposed to see these plans, but hey, they were in the room… and it was hard not to be impressed.

This building, I think, will completely change the landscape of Jackson Street Extension.

In related news, the Council wants to fast-track the extension of Versailles. It probably needs to be done.

Also on yesterday, I drove around the Lakes District. If you haven’t seen the new apartment complex there, you should give it a gander. It’s huge, and the “lakes” are really nice.

By the way, I am not sure if this in the works yet or not, but there is a desperate need for a traffic light on 28W at the entrance of the Lakes District. Soon, there will be a lot of people living back there.
