One full week has come and gone since Lamar posed his querry;
The liklihood of posting answers is looking pretty bleary;
Questions are easier to ask than answers to receive;
His youth, vigor, and naivete caused him to believe;
It’s a shame if Lamar’s effort turns into a bust;
Perhaps the lesson he will learn is “who Lamar can Trust”

It would be ashame if my effort at asking questions “turns into a bust,” but I doubt they will. Dr. Slatkin has his answers already, and Mr. Lawson has twice assured me that he will have his soon. I think he realizes that it’s not just his responsibility as a candidate; it’s also his obligation as an elected official to answer questions relating to his job.

  1. lawdee how easily they give up. you asked dr slatkin and councilman lawson some pretty complex questions we wouldnt expect them to answer them all at once.

  2. Exactly. They’re not exactly the easiest questions to answer, and people need to recognize that.

  3. So, lets see: the candidates agreed to respond within a week, Dr. Slatkin, a physician with a busy practice and huge responsibilities managed to do exactly what he promised and Councilman Lawson didn’t do what he promised but keeps on promising. Here are some questions for you, Lamar:

    1. Does that follow any particular historic pattern or conduct attributed to these respective candidates: and

    2. Does this conduct tell you anything about the relative veracity, reliability, and sense-of-duty/committment of these two candidates?

  4. That’s unfair. When I sent Councilman Lawson the questions, he was out of town, and he received them on his PDA, not exactly the easiest way to respond to 15 questions.

    I’m patient.

  5. I think it is time that we finally acknowledge the fact that Lamar is a crony and secret supporter of Myron Lawson and is using his slanted blog to support him and his own interests.

    This entire blog is a sham, and should be taken for what it is: an outlet for Lamar to sway the public so he can profit in the future.

  6. to anonymous: thats ridiculous. theres nothing on this blog to suggest such a thing. when you make such wild unsubstantiated comments like that you only make yourself look foolish.

  7. Thank you, WeSawThat.

    I didn’t know what to think when I first read that comment.

    I think this “anonymous” writer is giving me WAY too much credit. I created this blog two months ago, and back then, I hadn’t even spoken to Myron in over a decade.

    But if this person wants to write me off as just another crony, so be it. (Again, this is why young people MOVE AWAY).
