Louisiana native Erick Erickson (again, not to be confused with the famed psychoanalyst) owns and operates one of the most popular right-wing blogsites in the country, RedState.com, whose former front-page contributor and co-founder actually refused to vote for John McCain this year, instead writing in a vote for Governor Bobby Jindal). Barack Obama hasn’t even taken the oath of office yet, and already, political commentators are heralding the beginning of the 2012 Presidential election. Yesterday, our Governor made the rounds in Iowa, signaling to many outside observers that Jindal may be laying the groundwork for a run at the White House in 2012.
