I apologize for this rudimentary and difficult-to-read map, but hopefully, it’s instructive. Although Barack Obama did win resoundingly statewide, Hillary Clinton still carried twenty parishes throughout the State: Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Caldwell, Cameron, Catahoula, Grant, Jefferson Davis, Lafourche, LaSalle, Livingston, Sabine, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Terrebonne, Vermillion, Vernon, West Carroll, and Winn.
Clinton’s victories are indicated in dark blue, Obama’s in light blue.
Hillary did particularly well in Central and Southwestern Louisiana, carrying a number of rural parishes. In many of these parishes, she didn’t win by much; in Avoyelles, the margin was 28 votes. Her biggest victories were in Lafourche, Livingston, St. Bernard parishes, where she received twice as many votes as Obama. But by and large, her margins were small.
Obama won in every metropolitan area in the State of Louisiana, with the exception of Terrebonne Parish (Houma), and in those areas, voters gave Obama high margins of victory.
Total turn-out:
Democrats: 384,348
Republicans: 161,319
Democrats received 223,029 more votes than Republicans.

I’m sure it was higher, as I only put it up with 98% of the vote reporting.
