News Update: Former President George H. W. Bush Rewarded Doctorate of Humanities at Louisiana College, Padding Bush’s Resume With Yet Another Fake Degree.

From the Town Talk:

During the chapel service, which featured rousing music by the Centennial Choir and Brass, Bush was presented with an honorary doctorate of humanities by Louisiana College.

Do I have to be the first person to point out the obvious? Louisiana College does not have ANY doctorate programs. I know, I know, honorary degrees are inherently ceremonial, but I couldn’t help myself.

    There are universities all over the country which bestow honorary degrees on FAR less deserving trash, to be sure.

    Yeah, that’s definitely bullshit… I guess since a Bachelor’s from LC is not worth shit now, they thought they’d step it up, but it becomes even more laughable since LC doesn’t offer any terminal degrees.

    I’m sure Bush I would have been just fine quietly taking his $100 grand and moving on.
