I am a Brewer supporter. I strongly believe that she will be in a runoff. I predict the runoff opponent will be Roy. I would not have said that two weeks ago. But I do believe Roy’s message has caught on and he’s gained enough momentum to make it happen. The other factor supporting my prediction is the fact that there are 4 black candidates, 2 of which are pretty strong. Bottom line is that votes among blacks will be split. But the number two slot in the runoff will receive only a small percentage more than the candidate who comes in third. If it’s not Roy in the runoff with Brewer, I say it will be Johnson.

After this Saturday, perhaps Mrs. Brewer can apply for a position as a Code Enforcement Officer. The picture of her picking up thrash shows she has the ability for that job!

Regarding code enforcement, it would be nice to see Alexandria cleaned up. Just drive around and see how much trash is strewn along the streets. That is a sad commentary on the people populating the city.

Where are those properties in her ad that need cleaning up?? They don’t appear to be in Alexandria. Maybe as mayor she will clean up other towns.

I may be stupid, but I don’t think having someone standing in the median of a busy intersection asking motorists to blow their horns is going to influence how people vote! Talk about childish………
