He will still be on the city council when he loses.
I am sure he will punish all of us (white people) for it.
First of all, no one has understood what he said since 1969. Second, he almost lost his council seat to Alice Hammond last time he ran for re-election. Proving that his political stregnth is weak these days. Charles is living in lala land if he thinks he’s a viable candidate for mayor. He is going to embarass himself in this race.

Has anyone counted the number of “studies” Mr. Smith has backed as a city council member? And what have we gotten for these expensive contracts?
Has anyone counted the number of times he has hired or tried to get the city to hire some unqualified female “consultant?” Everyone knows a goodlooking woman of any race can go hang out at his bar, get “close” with Chas F. and he’ll propose they get hired to do something for the city. His proposal for the Brame chick to do a study on homeless problem is a prime example. Even if the city needed such a study, she has no qualifications whatsoever to do that. This is just one of many examples.
