Question for the Anonymous Bloggers: If you’re going to post anonymously, then why not report specific details? Some of you like to use euphemisms and nicknames for the events and people, and guess what? It just clouds the issues. Speak your truth! Tell us what we need to know.

To Billy Gunn: Keep up the good work. If the blogosphere proves anything about Alexandria, it’s that it is nearly impossible to find the real truth around here. It’s all gossip and innuendo, and it seems like no one wants to go on the record about anything. Kudos for the latest series of articles.

  1. Rather obscure advice – do you want us to get off of your site or say what we have to say however we have to say it. It is, however, most kind of you to grant Billy Gunn your personal kudos. I’m sure that will mean the world to him after the gang-bang criticism he has been getting on this site.

  2. Junior is unhappy with not knowing who is posting. He has been complaining on this and the Cenla board. It has been explained to whom, on the other site, that identity tends to cause folks not to post their thoughts. You have to realize Junior is the only one that can offer insight and substantive thoughts on any and all issues in the area – it is a White character trait he inherited.

Think it is in the dna of the inner-circle

  3. Posting for the first time, but I have been reading this blog casually for a few weeks.

I believe what Lamar is trying to convey is this:

If you are hiding behind the shield of anonymity so that you may speak for freely…THEN SPEAK MORE FREELY.

If you know something, say it plainly. If you know names, name them. Utilize your Shield of Anonymity to its best advantage. Lay aside the inneundo and veiled references to whatever mis, mal, or non-feasence you think our elected/appointed officials are perpetrating, and tell us what you suspect in concrete terms. If you have a source, cite it. If you prefer to protect the source, stipulate as much.

Bottom line…say what’s on your mind.

I don’t know young Mr. White, but I do appreciate what he’s trying to do. As the defacto moderator, he’s demonstrating a great deal of patience for a great many posts that wander far off topic and into the realm of personal attacks.

Keep up the good work, “Junior.”

  4. REEFA!, where ya been all my life. Great point made. I love the fact that I have a place to whine and complain with no repercussions.
